Can I get a Target Contract or Minimum Price Contract for corn delivered to Golden Triangle or St Joe or Atchison or Kansas City?

Yes, ALL the marketing alternatives listed above are available no matter where the

grain is delivered.

 

Why should I go through Craig Grain when I want to deliver to Golden Triangle, St Joe, Atchison or Kansas City?

 

Actually, for four reasons: 

 

1. We generally have deliveries already scheduled, so you should be able to get right in.

 

2. Faster settlements.  As soon as we have the scale tickets, we'll issue your check the following day.

 

3. We will usually match and at times when market conditions dictate, bid more than Golden Triangle, St Joe, Atchison or Kansas City.

 

4. The marketing services we provide are also available for corn and beans delivered to all locations.
What marketing strategy do you recommend?

We always advise that after you set a reasonable profit goal per acre and have determined at what price per bushel you must sell it to meet that goal, to then sell if your price is available.

 

If the market is currently below your price, enter a Target Contract to sell if and when your price is reached.  If your target is not reached, a Minimum Price Contract protects the "down side" but leaves the "up side" open.
